Corynne has been practicing in the mental health field for over 15 years. She is trained in facilitating nature-based therapy (ecotherapy) as well as using expressive arts (including dance & movement) in her work with clients of all ages. She specializes in working with children and adolescents using play therapy, sandtray therapy and animal-assisted therapy.
Corynne believes that therapy means empowering individuals to access both internal and external resources they need to meet the challenges in their lives. Therapy is a process that fosters improvement by showing people that they have the resources within them to make changes in their own lives, their relationships, families and communities. She helps people identify what is important to them and why, and she works with individuals to implement their newly discovered power in self-identified areas of concern.
