Carissa is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University.
Carissa has extensive experience providing clinical and case management services for at-risk youth and their families in a residential child care setting. She is trained in EMDR and specializes in working with teens and adults who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, sexuality, mood disorders, and life transitions. She also utilizes a strengths-based approach and provides a safe, non-judgmental space to meet the needs of each client.
During her free time, Carissa enjoys cycling, reading, listening to true crime podcasts, walking her dogs, and spending time with friends and family.
