Cindy is a graduate of St. Louis University with a Masters in Social Work with a specialization in Children and Family Counseling. She also is a certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional for Children and Adolescents. Cindy has worked in social work with children and families in foster care, the school setting, and private practice. Her experience with children and youth includes ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum, mood disorders, behavior outbursts, and difficulties in the school system. She also works with families and couples to assist with increasing effective communication, increasing positive interactions, and developing stronger bonds between family members. Cindy’s clientele includes people struggling with anxiety, depression, Bipolar, divorce, and self-worth. She utilizes a person-centered and holistic approach in her therapeutic work. She works with the client and the family to determine which approach may be most beneficial as each client is unique and each circumstance exceptional. Collaboration with the client lends itself to achieving the clients’ goals and maintaining an engaging life. In addition to traditional psychotherapy, Cindy’s approach may include the use of art therapy, yoga, education, mindfulness, breath work, and music.
