Elliott studied at Maryville University for undergraduate schooling, achieving a double-major in Psychology and Sociology and graduated Summa Cum Laude. His desire to help students and children, and to give back to those who grew up in similar situations, led Elliott to work as a paraprofessional for the same middle school he attended as a kiddo in Missouri. He then took a position as a paraprofessional for Mapleton School District here in Colorado.
For graduate school, Elliott originally attended the University of Denver’s Masters in School Counseling program, learning the theories and techniques best set to serve the students in his charge. Since then, he has shifted his focus to private practice, seeking out an MFT through Touro University Worldwide, a COAMFTE certified program. His goal is to become a board-certified therapist with an LPCC and become accredited by the State of Colorado.
The therapies that Elliott utilizes in practice have been shown to be effective based upon numerous studies and results. They are designed to enhance one’s ability to cope, as well as to find solace in any situation. Elliott provides a safe space where deeper connections can be created with each client, which in turn allows for the personal work to be done.
In Elliott’s spare time, he loves talking music, as his sister is a musician, and anything sports-related. Being from St. Louis, he is an avid Cardinals and Chiefs fan, and will defend his love of Imo’s Pizza to the end.
