Moving around a lot as a kid, Grace was finally able to find home in Colorado in 2010. Grace earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus in Clinical & Counseling Psychology from Colorado State University in 2022. Currently, they attend the University of Northern Colorado studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling and hope to graduate with their Master’s in December of 2024. Grace is also being trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and aims to complete their training by July of 2024.

Grace never expected to end up in the realm of psychology, originally studying biomedical sciences and chemistry. They fell in love with the science and art of people and how they navigate the world. Incredibly research-focused, Grace has worked on various research projects that explored the family dynamics, addictions, and LGBTQ+ sciences.

Outside of their own education, they have worked as a one-on-one paraprofessional for students with disabilities and has been a substitute teacher for middle school and high school students. Grace has a huge soft spot for middle schoolers!

As a counselor, Grace meets every individual where they are at. They aim to provide individuals with a space to open up and truly process their external and internal experiences. When working with families, they believe in a collaborative approach where everyone has the same goal, to support and help the child. Parents often need to same space to process as their child and sometimes need to learn to work together as a team.

Grace is constantly learning and growing as a counselor and as an individual, and is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with all individuals and families, and to be a part of the KidStuff team.

During their down time, they love snuggling with their 2 cats, enjoying time outside in their hammock, baking sweet treats, and sketching!
