AJ (she/they) is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) and a Provisionally Licensed Art Therapist (ATR-P). She earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Transpersonal Art Therapy from Naropa University. AJ has clinical experience in working with individuals of all ages with a variety of concerns resulting from grief and loss, trauma, depression, and anxiety. AJ also has experience working with Autism and LGBTQIA+ individuals and families.

As an Art Therapist, AJ uses a holistic approach, unique to each client, to meet them where they are. Sessions may include play, art making, humor, music, meditation, and collaboration. And remember, you do not need to be an artist to try art therapy!

In her free time, AJ loves making art, going to concerts, reading fantasy novels, and sharing meals with family and friends.
