Alex earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado in 2016 and her Master of Arts in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling with a Child and Adolescent graduate certificate from the University of Northern Colorado in 2021.

She has a professional background working with children, teens, and adults who have experienced trauma along with working with reunification cases to help heal the family systems.

Alex has experience working with individuals who struggle with substance abuse at residential treatment and detox facilities. She has training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Gottman Couples Counseling Level I and II, Child-Centered play therapy techniques, Experiential Play Therapy techniques, and Narrative Therapy.
