Chantel received her Master’s in Counseling and Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is currently registered as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado and has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Chantel has a history of working with children on the autism spectrum, youth in the foster care system, and adults with substance use concerns.
During graduate school, she provided behavioral therapy for children with autism and completed her practicum in substance abuse and mental health counseling with adults.
Chantel’s approach to therapy comes from a client-centered lens, which views true healing as stemming from within the client. Chantel believes a client’s healing process arises through discovering and accepting their true, authentic self through a safe and unconditional therapeutic environment. A warm, accepting, and empathetic relationship with another provides the space for healing to happen.
Chantel moved to Colorado from Wisconsin and over the past few years has enjoyed exploring everything this beautiful state has to offer. In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking, camping, cuddling her cat Nyx, and spending time with friends and family.
