Dave works with individuals with trauma, loss, and emotional issues such as depression and anxiety. Dave also works with couples offering marriage and pre-marriage counseling, individuals who are caught in the cycle of addictions, and Men’s Issues. Dave is a Christian and believes in the importance of integrating faith and spirituality into the counseling experience.
Dave graduated from Denver Seminary in 1995 with his Master’s degree in counseling and spent the next 20 years serving as a Pastor and Counselor at Northern Hills Church in Brighton Colorado. During that time Dave had many opportunities to lead men’s groups, Divorce Recovery Groups, Addiction groups, marriage and parenting seminars, and work with many individuals and couples in counseling. In 2014 he started his own counseling practice and also began working as an Addictions Counselor for the Salvation Army in a men’s relapse prevention program in downtown Denver.
If you choose to enter into counseling with Dave you can expect to be treated in a way where grace and compassion are more than nice concepts but relational realities. Whatever struggles you are currently experiencing, it is always Dave’s goal to handle them with the care and respect they deserve.
Dave and his wife have lived in Colorado since 1989. They have 3 children and love spending time in the mountains of Colorado and traveling whenever they can.
