With over 30 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, Jamie brings a deep understanding of child and human development to her work as a therapist. She holds a BA in Child Development, an MA in Human Development, and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Since joining KidStuff in January 2024 as a clinical intern, she has enjoyed working with children, teens, adults, and families. Her approach is collaborative and client-centered, grounded in the belief that clients are the experts on their own lives. She strives to create a supportive, empowering space where individuals and families can grow and heal.
In her work with younger clients, Jamie incorporates play therapy and art therapy techniques to support emotional expression and processing. She values the role of family involvement in the therapeutic process. She has experience working with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and general life stressors.
During her free time, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
