Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in children, adolescents, and family services. Her experience is providing help and support to children and their families in both clinical and educational settings. She considers it a privilege to help individuals and families with grief, loss, life changes, attachment, depression, anxiety, traumatic events, emotional conflicts, behavioral concerns, and school issues. She has more than 11 years of experience using a variety of therapy techniques including strengths based, Solution-focused, Cognitive Behavioral, play and art therapies. She believes in the importance of partnering with parents and building a caring and trusting relationship with family members. Jennifer also provides faith-based services when requested.
Jennifer received her Masters of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Emporia State University in Kansas. Jennifer and her husband moved to Colorado in 2000. After 11 years providing therapy, she became a stay-at-home mother. They have two children and love family time and being in the mountains. As both of her children are now school age, Jennifer is excited to again provide therapy to children, adolescents, and their families.
