Marian (She/Her) is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in Colorado. She earned her master’s in Social Work from The Ohio State University, and her bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from Kent State University.
Marian has over 10 years of experience in the mental health field supporting children, teens, and their families. She has worked in education (charter schools, alternative schools, and online schools), community-based case management, residential treatment centers, and private practice.
Marian is a trauma-informed therapist who integrates evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy into her sessions. She uses a combination of client-centered and strength-based approaches mixed with humor and empathy to create an environment where you feel valued, secure, validated, and empowered. She specializes in working with people who are from the ages of 12 years old and up, who struggle with current/past trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, self-harm, suicidal feelings, anger, behavioral issues, ADHD, low self-esteem, and adjustment issues.
