Morning Fitzgerald is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has experience working with children, adolescents, families, and couples in community based and outpatient settings. Her passion is supporting children and families in finding positive connection and growth. As a family systems therapist, she believes that individuals do not exist in a vacuum and the people around them play an integral part in change. As such, Morning can provide parent support and guidance in effective parenting strategies as well as family therapy and couples therapy when appropriate.
Morning has extensive experience with children and families who have experienced difficult life circumstances. She focuses on attachment within families and has a foundational certification in Theraplay, a parent-child therapy that promotes positive connection and attunement. She also is trained in EMDR, an evidence-based therapy used to heal trauma.
Morning is a client-centered, strength-based clinician who focuses on building a warm, trusting relationship with each person she engages with. She uses humor and empathy to connect with her clients and utilizes creative and play based approaches to connect with children and families.
Morning has lived in Colorado for most of her adult life and is married with a small child and two cats. She enjoys playing piano, reading, spending time outdoors and with friends and family.
