Sarah grew up in Colorado, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2008. Currently, she attends the University of Northern Colorado, working to complete her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Her journey into the world of counseling began as a natural extension of her desire to connect with people on a deeper, more meaningful level. As a visual artist and musician, Sarah understands the profound impact of expressive therapies in fostering emotional well-being for children and adults alike. Her goal is not only to help children navigate the complexities of their emotions but also to empower families to communicate openly and thrive together. She appreciates the opportunity to continue to learn and grow with the support of the astounding KidStuff team and considers it a great privilege to be able to work with you and your children!
Sarah is dedicated to equity for all clients regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual identity, religious beliefs, mental and physical abilities, economic status, and all intersectionalities of identity.
In her spare time, Sarah can be found playing violin with her husband, illustrating, discovering new recipes, hiking, cuddling with her floppy cat and tiny pup, and spending time gardening in the dirt.
