Tanya comes to KidStuff Child and Family Counseling, PC from Texas where she has lived most of her life. She has worked in the medical field for 29 years with roles in mental health facilities, group homes, home health and now children’s behavioral health.
Tanya has been happily married for 27 years, has two sons, and two grandsons. She was an avid runner before injury for 9 years completing in many runs all over the world. Some highlights include running the Golden Gate Bridge, running in Central Park, the Honolulu Marathon fun run, hiking in Muir Woods and Diamond Head, completing several tough mudders, and running on beaches from all over the world.
Tanya can add to her bucket lists completing 50 miles in the Hotter ‘N Hell bike ride, snorkeling near the Pitons in St. Lucia and napping next to Hawaiian monk seals in Hanauma Bay.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, boating, hiking, and spending time with her grandsons. Tanya’s inspiration is her mother who has encouraged her to work hard and to work as if she is working for the Lord. She looks forward to building new relationships and being an invaluable asset to KidStuff Child and Family Counseling, PC.
