Zach is currently completing his graduate training at the University of Northern Colorado, where he is developing specialized skills in Experiential Play Therapy. His clinical approach combines child-centered play with expressive modalities such as art, sand tray, music, movement, and other creative interventions to foster meaningful connections and support children’s emotional growth and healing.
Zach believes that play is a child’s natural language and that authentic expression provides valuable insight into each child’s unique experiences, perspectives, and strengths. He approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and creativity, creating a safe and engaging environment where children feel understood and empowered. While his passion lies in working with children through play, Zach values genuine connection and collaborative relationships with clients of all ages, using creativity and authentic engagement to support growth, resilience, and lasting change.
In his free time, Zach enjoys viewing the world through an artistic lens. He appreciates music, creative expression, and movement as meaningful ways to connect with others and celebrate each person’s individuality.
